Welcome to
SNU Petroleum Engineering Lab.
Our research group consists of Global Petroleum Research Center (GPRC) and Subsurface fluid Flow and Transport Lab (SFTL). Our research group mainly studies and researches how to produce and inject fluid in subsurface reservoirs safely, efficiently, and economically considering subsurface rock and fluid uncertainties. Our research subtopics are drilling simulation, well control and drilling problems, subsurface modeling, inverse modeling, surrogate modeling, optimization, and subsurface monitoring.
